The holidays are complicated for many even in the best of times.  Sometimes it is a mourning for those who have passed since the previous year.  Sometimes it's complicated by personalities.  Sometimes it's lonely.  Usual schedules are disrupted. Every thing seems to be heightened in significance.  These days, we grapple with whether "to gather" or not.  Zoom and other platforms have exploded as an alternative means to connect but lacks the satisfaction of in person meetings.  At year-end holiday times, we have the opportunity to review and reflect over the past year.  We can set new goals, determine to try something different, and drop what doesn't serve us.  Best, it can be a time of personal growth.

Vitamin E is everywhere in daily multiple vitamin supplements and in all sorts of skin care products.  Yet, vitamin E had historically been shown to be a powerful antioxidant when used in cardiovascular disease and wound healing.  The practitioners who paved the way for understanding vitamin E faced great opposition from their conventional colleagues and struggled determinedly to share their findings. Even today, vitamin E is considered essential but is often ignored.  Complicating the vitamin E story, vitamin E has 8 distinct molecules with variations in activity.
